Welcome to ANBBC
The Appleton North Boys Basketball Club is a non-profit organization providing and promoting strong character, team work, and skill development through participation in our 2nd through 8th grade youth program. The intended goals are to prepare our participants to play together, play tough, and play smart so they are ready for a higher level of play in high school.
Hello Hoops Club Families,
We hope you're all enjoying a fantastic summer filled with fun, relaxation, and of course some basketball! Our dedicated board is hard at work planning for the upcoming season, and we'd like to share some adjustments that are sure to make this year our best one yet. We can't wait to see everyone back on the court!
Season and team structure will remain similar to last year. Stay tuned…
We are adding a free required skills assessment prior to season registration. Action Requested: Please see important dates listed below and register ASAP!
If you're unable to attend, please indicate in the registration and your grade level lead coach will reach out with alternative options.
The skills assessment will allow us to establish coaches and teams and to start league and tournament planning much earlier than in years past.
It also allows you an opportunity to decide prior to the season if ANBBC is the right choice. This will be done ahead of registration for other programs such as YMCA and Parks & Rec.
Team Structure:
4th-6th Grade - 2 Primary Teams will be evenly split for league play, and split into A and B teams for tournament play. No half-season option.
7th-8th Grade - 2 Primary Teams will be split into A and B teams for league and tournament play. No half-season option.
Additional Recreational Teams will be added if there is enough parent coaching and player interest. See “Recreational Teams” below for details.
Provided there is sufficient parent coaching and player interest, ANBBC will support additional Recreational Teams at a discounted price.
Practices for these teams will be on Wednesdays and Fridays.
We will do our best to support parent coaches in finding scrimmages/leagues/ tournaments at an appropriate level of competition for the team.
No half-season option. Instead, the season length will be a joint decision of coaches and families of each team.
