Club Structure

ANBBC offers programs for boys 2nd - 8th grade. The programs support the ANBBC Mission and Philosophy, encouraging fundamentals, teamwork and fun. The season starts mid-October after the football season has ended and runs through March.

ANBBC Programs Offered:

 

Practice Schedule

  • Teams will practice two to three times per week based on gym availability and grade level.
    • 2nd - 5th Grades: two weekly practices that are 1 – 1 ½ hours long
    • 6th - 8th Grade: two to three weekly practices that are 1 ½ hours long
  • Players will have the opportunity to attend skills clinics or open gyms throughout the season

 

Team Composition

2nd & 3rd Grade

  • Teams may vary throughout the season
  • Play evenly split teams during scrimmages, league, & tournaments
  • No A/B teams
  • All registered players will make a team (no cuts).

4th - 6th Grade

  • Teams may vary throughout the season
  •  2 Primary Teams will be evenly split for league play, and split into A and B teams for tournament play.
  • Additional Recreational Teams will be added if there is enough parent coaching and player interest.  See “Recreational Teams” below for details.

7th - 8th Grade

  • Teams may vary throughout the season
  • Head coach has the discretion to organize teams based on level of play from the start of the season.
  • One Competitive(A) team and One Developmental(B) team are offered.
  • Additional Recreational Teams will be added if there is enough parent coaching and player interest.  See “Recreational Teams” below for details.

Recreational Teams

Provided there is sufficient parent coaching and player interest, ANBBC will support additional Recreational Teams at a discounted price.

  • Practices for these teams will be on Wednesdays and Fridays.

  • We will do our best to support parent coaches in finding scrimmages/leagues/tournaments at an appropriate level of competition for the team.

Tournaments

  • Minimum number of sponsored tournaments each player will be scheduled to play per grade level :
    • 2nd grade: 2-4 tournaments

    • 3rd - 8th grade: 3-6 tournaments

Playing Time

  • Playing time – the club policies on specific grade level playing time is intended to be used as a guide. Exact playing time will be determined by the Head Coach for each grade level. ANBBC will not dictate playing minutes as coaches must be given the flexibility to teach.
  • Specific questions about playing time should be directed to the Head Coach at your grade level.
  • Coaches may reduce a players playing time for failure to follow the Players Code of Conduct.
  • 2nd - 4th Grade: Playing time will be as close to equal as possible. Every player will have some playing time each half. However, practice attendance, attitude, teamwork, and effort will be considered.
  • 5th & 6th Grade: Playing time will not be equal and will be determined by skill, attitude, attendance, teamwork, and effort.Every player will have some playing time each half. Coaches will coach to move team into Championship bracket play.
  • 7th & 8th Grade: Playing time will not be equal and will be determined by skill, attitude, attendance, teamwork, and effort. Every player will play in each game. Coaches will coach to win.

Season Options & Fees

  • 2nd & 3rd Grade:
    • Single season option consisting of scrimmages, league, and tournaments as available - Cost: $225
  • 4th-8th Grade
    • Primary Team(2 per grade) - Cost: $225
    • Recreational Team - Cost: $175
  • Volunteer Opportunities
    • ANBBC is requesting the families of all athletes to support our club through volunteer time.
    • Optional Buyout - Cost: $50
  • Payments are all done online during the registration process.
  • Family member discount of $50 per additional family member. 
  • Participation in the calendar fundraising event is a required condition of registration.

 

Financial Assistance

No potential player will be turned away due to lack of funds. Financial assistance is available for those in need. If you feel this applies to you, please contact Adam Eisenberg for further information on application requirements in advance of completing the registration.

Financial assistance can only be provided in advance of a registration submittal.
